Nathan has worked with the organisation for more than 10 years, initially as an accountant and then Finance Manager with Recovery Solutions, before it merged to form Emerge Aotearoa. He was appointed as Emerge Aotearoa’s Group Chief Financial Officer in 2023, and says he is excited to be a part of the organisation’s future direction.
Nathan graduated from The University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce, and gained a Graduate Diploma in Commerce, before becoming a Chartered Accountant in 2012.
He says family mental health experiences are a driving factor that help him put people at the centre of his work. Nathan says he is fuelled by a desire to see better outcomes in both the mental health and addictions, and housing sectors, and he has a strong belief in Emerge Aotearoa’s kaupapa, innovations, and commitment to being a tangata tiriti organisation.
