Alastair has been CEO of Bay Trust since 2015. In that time he and the Bay Trust Board have significantly altered their $250m investment portfolio to ensure it better aligns with their mission of making a positive social and environmental difference including investing in a significant range of housing opportunities. Alastair is also the Chair of Aotearoa’s Impact Investment Network.
Prior to his appointment at BayTrust, Alastair held executive positions in aviation and consulting. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Lawyer and has a legal, commercial and strategic background. Alastair has a passion for impact and sustainable investing to help drive a more inclusive and sustainable society, with a particular focus on Housing and Climate Change, to make Aotearoa a better place for future generations.
