Graeme Bell

Graeme has 30 years senior executive management and leadership experience locally and internationally in corporate and investment banking, private sector consulting and the New Zealand public health system. He has more than 25 years of governance experience at Chief Executive and Board member level, 12 of those years with Emerge Aotearoa.  

Graeme’s governance experience includes participation in property and audit, risk and finance committees. He has also been involved in the oversight of two mergers requiring substantive  integration and business transformation programmes. He is a Trustee of the Emerge Aotearoa Housing Trust and Chair of the Audit Risk Finance and Investment Committee. 

 Graeme has a comprehensive knowledge of the public health system and brings to Emerge Aotearoa an experienced skills and knowledge base in strategic planning, risk management, financial management and control. He remains active in the health sector through his participation with central agencies and DHBs in the review of major capital projects. 

Now semi-retired, Graeme was previously a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the Institute of Management.
