Fale is currently an elected member of the Manurewa Local Board and the Wiri Licensing Trust. He was previously an elected member of the Manukau City Council. He recently oversaw the merger of MIT and UNITEC on behalf of the government and is a commissioner on the Child & Youth Mortality Review Committee at the Ministry of Health.
He hails from the villages of Salesatele Falealili, Sa'anapu, Apia, Fagaloa, and Sapapalii in Samoa.
